During the creation of my project, I learnt to use a wide range of products, such as:

• Final Cut
• Photoshop
• Imovie
• Garageband
• Livetype
• Use of a camera effectively

Contribution to the creation

These skills allowed the use of creative, interesting techniques tied in with the use of professional effects. I was also able to create clean, related title screens.

How will i develop these

I will use more advanced features of the tools available to me, plus create a larger focus on a specific genre.

Crate a greater polish to the product, while also allowing corrections and the addition of unique effects. These skills also allowed the editing and combining of elements.

How will i develop these

I will be more centred on specific features, going more in-depth and expanding on the tools provided.

Research and Planning:

I learned the implementation of specifics conventions, and the expansion on generic ideas.

Contribution to the creation

These skills allowed for a more creative expansion of film noire, wile allows keeping key roots of the genre in the film. It also allowed an easy relation of the film to the film noire genre.

How i will develop these

I will do a lot more research, while also planning really well for the varied footage needed. The planning will also be related.

Using Conventions of Real Media Text:

I learned the analysis of sequences, audience research, 9-frame analysis, story board and the use of an effective call sheet.

Contribution to the creation

I was able to successfully analysis iconic film noire clips, such as LA Confidential. I was also able to implement key conventions such as quick cross-cutting.

How i will develop these

I will be focused on specifics within a music video, understanding it's development and becoming much more focused on the themes heavily found in music videos.
